Types of Data Collected

The personal data processed are those provided by the user and those that may be acquired during the course of the relationship between Specialcavi Baldassari S.r.l. and the user. Specifically, the data processed through the website include the following:

In this case, the sender's email address is acquired, as it is necessary to respond to the request, along with any other personal data included in the message.	These data are used exclusively to fulfill the user's requests, as well as to carry out all pre-contractual measures adopted at the user's request and to meet all related operational and management needs. Data (first name, last name, email address, phone number) collected following the completion of the form in the WORK WITH US section.	In this case, the data are acquired by Specialcavi Baldassari S.r.l. for the purpose of contacting potentially selected candidates. Personal data, including “special categories” of data, that may be received following the submission of a curriculum vitae as an attachment in the WORK WITH US section of the website. In such cases, the Data Controller – in accordance with the provisions and guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority – will provide the privacy notice regarding the processing of the data contained in the CV both at the time of uploading the PDF file and, if applicable, during the first useful contact with the candidate.	These data are processed exclusively for the purpose of carrying out candidate search and selection activities.	Necessity to perform pre-contractual measures (Article 6, letter b) of the GDPR) adopted at the data subject’s request. The processing of “special categories” of data is lawful based on the Provision of the Italian Data Protection Authority dated June 5, 2019, which supplements and amends General Authorization No. 1/2016.

Nature of data provision

The provision of personal data marked with an asterisk (*) is mandatory in order to submit a request and/or use the service. Any refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to proceed with the request and obtain the desired service. The provision of additional data is entirely optional.

Place of data processing

Data are processed at the registered and operational offices of the Data Controller, at any other location where the parties involved in the processing are located, and on hosting servers, under the responsibility of bandwidth and domain providers. Processing methods

The Data Controller carries out the necessary processing in compliance with national privacy legislation and the GDPR. Personal data will be processed using automated and electronic means, with logic strictly related to the purposes described above, ensuring the use of appropriate security measures and guaranteeing data confidentiality.

The Data Controller will process personal data in accordance with current security regulations to minimize the risks of destruction or loss (including accidental), unauthorized access, unlawful or non-compliant processing, and improper or illegal use of data.

Data retention

Data are or will be processed for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the user's requests or – more generally – to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. They will also be retained for the duration of the commercial or contractual relationship and subsequently for the fulfillment of legal obligations and/or for administrative, commercial, and tax purposes.

Data communication and disclosure

➢   Other companies providing services, acting as independent data controllers or duly appointed data processors, such as third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies;
➢   Banks, credit institutions, debt collection agencies, insurance companies.

The updated list of Data Processors can always be requested from the Data Controller.

Data transfer

The user is informed that their personal data will not be transferred abroad to non-EU countries that do not ensure adequate levels of personal data protection. If such transfer becomes necessary to pursue one of the purposes stated above, it will be carried out in full compliance with Articles 44 and following of EU Regulation 679/2016.

User rights

Pursuant to Articles 15 and following of EU Regulation 679/2016, the user – with reference to the data processed by the Data Controller and where applicable – has the right to:

➢   Access the data processed by the Data Controller, obtain information on specific aspects of the processing, and receive a copy of the processed data (Article 15 of the GDPR – Right of access);
➢   Verify the accuracy of their data and request updates or corrections (Article 16 of the GDPR – Right to rectification);
➢   Request the deletion or removal of their personal data (Article 17 of the GDPR – Right to erasure);
➢   Request the restriction of data processing under certain conditions (Article 18 of the GDPR – Right to restriction of processing);
➢   Receive their data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, request its transfer to another Data Controller without obstacles (Article 20 of the GDPR – Right to data portability);
➢   Object to the processing of their data when it is based on a legal basis other than consent (Article 21 of the GDPR – Right to object). When personal data are processed in the public interest, in the exercise of official authority vested in the Data Controller, or to pursue a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, the user has the right to object to the processing for reasons related to their particular situation;
➢   Lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Privacy – https://www.garanteprivacy.it/) or take legal action if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates applicable laws.

To exercise these rights, the user may send a request to the contact details of the Data Controller provided in this document. Requests are free of charge and will be processed by the Data Controller as quickly as possible, in any case within one month.
